Trouble Accessing Ruby Sweeps?

Troubleshoot location and access issues — VPN, Wi-Fi, GPS, IP address checks, and what to do if Ruby Sweeps thinks you're somewhere you're not.

Trouble accessing Ruby Sweeps? Let's troubleshoot together 🌐

Ruby Sweeps is currently only available in select US locations. If our system thinks you're outside an available area, you might run into access issues. Sometimes you can be in an available area but your internet provider routes your connection elsewhere — here's how to troubleshoot.

Tip: Work through these steps in order.

🛡️ Step 1: Turn Off Your VPN

If you have an active VPN, you won't be able to access Ruby Sweeps. Disable any VPN and try again.

🛜 Step 2: Turn On Your Wi-Fi

You don't need to be connected to Wi-Fi — but it should be turned ON. This helps us get a more accurate location reading. You can keep using mobile data while Wi-Fi is on.

🧭 Step 3: Allow GPS Location for Ruby Sweeps

If your location is blocked or off, our system may think you're somewhere outside the available area.

For Android or Windows (Chrome)

1. Open Chrome and tap the three dots icon at the top-right.

2. Tap Site Settings.

3. Tap Location.

4. Tap Blocked.

5. If play.rubysweeps.com is in the blocked list, tap it and change it to Allow.

6. Log out of Ruby Sweeps.

7. Clear your cache (see Troubleshooting Gameplay).

8. Log back in.

For Apple/iOS Devices

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Scroll down to Privacy.

3. Tap Location Services.

4. Scroll down to Safari Websites.

5. Find Ruby Sweeps.

6. Under Allow Location Access, choose While Using the App.

🌍 Step 4: Check Your IP Address

Your internet provider's location might be different from your physical location. Check your IP at whatismyipaddress.com.

If your IP is showing a different state, contact your internet service provider (ISP). Some ISPs have IP addresses that change locations frequently — you may be able to request a static IP for your area. 📍

🔄 Step 5: Try a Different Device

If you're on a computer, try logging in on your phone (or vice versa) to see if the issue persists.
