Cece Bartley October 16, 2024 00:39 Updated Ruby Sweeps is currently only available in some select locations and our system may block access if it thinks you're outside of our available areas. β Sometimes you can be in an available area, but your internet provider will route your connection through locations different from your physical location. π€ There are a few things you can do to try and find a solution! π It helps to go in order. π First: Make sure you are not connected to a VPN. If you have one active, you will not be able to access Ruby Sweeps. βπ‘οΈ Second: Make sure your Wi-Fi is turned on! You don't have to be connected to Wi-Fi it just ahs to be turned on. You can continue using mobile data. This can help us get a more precise location reading for you! π Third: Is your GPS location active and shared with Ruby Sweeps? If your location is off, our systems may believe you are somewhere outside of our available area π§ To check this: Go into your Chrome settings by clicking the 3 dots in the top right of your browser. Scroll down to Site Settings Click on Location Click on Blocked Make sure that play.rubysweeps.com isn't on this list! If it is on the blocked list, tap it and change it to Allow. Log out of Ruby Sweeps Clear your cache - You can find instructions here: How Do I Clear My Cache, Cookies and Browser History? Log in again! Fourth: Check your IP address. This is to see where you Internet Service Provider says you are located. Ideally, you should be located somewhere within your physical state.You can check your IP address here: What Is My IP Address - See Your Public Address - IPv4 & IPv6If your IP address is showing a different location, you may have to get in contact with your Internet Service Provider. Some Internet Service Providers have IP addresses that move around at different intervals. You may be able to request a static IP address that is assigned to you for your location. π Fifth: Change the device you are logging in with to see if you encounter the same issue.If you are on a computer, try logging in on your phone (or reverse!)
