Horse races are the mini-games between bingo games — quick, loud, and a good break in the middle of a session.
We run two different kinds, and they work differently. This trips people up, so here's the distinction plainly.
First, what a horse race actually is
Fifteen horses, numbered 1 to 15. Each horse owns a downline of five bingo numbers:
Horse 1 owns 1, 16, 31, 46, 61
Horse 10 owns 10, 25, 40, 55, 70
and so on
Balls are drawn exactly like bingo. Every time a number in a horse's downline is called, that horse moves forward one step. The first horse to complete its full downline wins the race.
Type 1 — Direct entry (the board)
The straightforward one. You pick your horse yourself.
How it works:
The caller announces the entry amount for the race.
The caller calls "Board Open!" and the horses light up on your screen.
Tap the horse you want. If a horse is greyed out, someone else has already taken it.
Check the stream — your nickname appears next to your horse to confirm it's yours.
When the board fills, the caller closes it. Selections are locked.
The race runs. First full downline wins.
The prize is 10 times the entry amount. Enter for 10 Emeralds, win 100.
You can take as many horses as you like in one race, and you can play in Emeralds or Gold Coins.
Be quick. On a busy night the board fills in seconds.
Type 2 — Pull tabs
The other kind. You don't pick your horse — you open a tab and find out what you've got.
How it works:
Tap Boost during the session and choose a pull tab set.
Open as many tabs as you like from what's on the floor.
Each tab reveals one of three things.
What's inside a tab:
Result | What it means |
A horse number | You own that horse in the next race |
A hold ball | A bingo number. You win if yours is the last ball called when a horse finishes |
"Better luck next time" | No entry in this race |
Yes, some tabs are non-winners. We'd rather tell you that up front than have it be a surprise. Which sets include them depends on the set size.
Reading the set counter
Each pull tab set shows a counter like 0/15 or 0/90. That's how many tabs are in the set, and how many have gone.

The counter climbs as tabs are taken — 1/15, 2/15 — until the set is gone. In a full 90-tab set, both a horse winner and a hold ball winner are guaranteed.
How pull tab prizes are split
The pot is the horse pool plus the hold ball pool.
Hold the winning horse and the winning hold ball, and you take the lot.
If two different players hold them, the prize splits between you.
